The Department of Morbihan inaugurates this summer, in the heart of the Domaine de Kerguéhennec, a new permanent course dedicated to the artist Pierre Tal Coat (1905-1985), which he keeps an exceptional set of more than 1200 works.
On the first floor of the castle, eight rooms allow for 60 years of research and creation.
This son of Breton fisherman, friend of Alberto Giacometti, has established himself as a major figure of French painting of the second half of the twentieth century (Biennale of Venice in 1956, retrospective at the Grand Palais in 1976, exhibition at the New Museum of New York in 1985).
