A comprehensive tribute to the Neo-Impressionism art movement for the first time in Greece

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation joins forces with major European museums and presents, for the first time in Greece, a comprehensive tribute to the Neo-Impressionismart movement focusing on the Mediterranean region, that will run from January 10 until April 7, 2024.

The exhibition “Neo-Impressionism in the Colours of the Mediterranean (1891-1914) takes place in collaboration with important European museums and organisations including the Musée d’Orsay, the National Gallery in London, Centre Pompidou, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Besançon, the Musée de l’Annonciade, the Musée de Grenoble, the Musée national d’archéologie, d’histoire et d’art – Luxembourg and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs as well as European private collectors. The exhibition will feature works by Paul Signac, Henri-Edmond Cross, Maximilien Luce, Théo van Rysselberghe, Henri Matisse, Henri Manguin and Louis Valtat, most of which will go on display for the first time in Greece.
